Parmesan Tilapia

parmesan tilapia

I love this dish.  Two reasons why:

1) I love tilapia.  I love tomato sauce.  I love cheese.
2) It literally takes 30 minutes to make.

This can also be substituted for chicken—just saute the chicken in a pan until cooked all the way through.

YIELD: 2 servings

TIME: 30 minutes

2 tilapia filets
salt and pepper, to taste
generous amount of tomato sauce
generous amount of shredded Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp melted butter

Grease a square baking dish with butter, and place the washed tilapia filets in the dish.  Season with salt and pepper, and coat with tomato sauce.  Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top, drizzle melted butter on top, and bake in a 425º F oven for 20 minutes.
